Description

Hi guys!

I want to introduce you to this really cute little Oshawott pattern. Oshawott is the water starter pokemon of the 5th generation, and I've used him a lot in my runs on black and white 2. This little guys is a commission but I'm thinking about making one for myself because I find him so adorable.

If you want to make one yourself you can find the pattern below, and if there are any problems or questions about the pattern leave them in the comments.

Materials:

Light blue, dark blue, yellow, brown, while and black yarn

Crochet hook, I used 2,50 mm myself

A yarn needle

Stuffing

Plastic eyes

Head:

Rnd 1: sc 6 in magic ring (6)

Rnd 2: sc 2 in each sc (12)

Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)

Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)

Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)

Rnd 6-11: sc in each sc around (30)

Rnd 12: sc in next 3 sc, dec over next sc around (24)

Rnd 13: sc in next 2 sc, dec over next sc around (18)

Rnd 14: sc in next sc, dec over next sc around (12)

At this point start filling the head with stuffing.

Rnd 15: dec over each sc around (6)

Ears:

Rnd 1: sc 6 in magic ring (6)

Rnd 2: sc 2 in each sc (12)

Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)

Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)

Nose:

Rnd 1: sc 6 in magic ring (6)

Rnd 2: sc 2 in each sc (12)

The spots on the cheeks are made by putting a knot around the yarn and pulling the strands back into the head with a crochet hook or yarn needle.

I put a loop on Oshawotts head so it can hang from keys, bags, christmas trees and anything else you'd like. This loop is made from a 40 ch and connected to the bottom of the head before attaching the head to the body. This loop is optional.

Body:

Rnd 1: sc 6 in magic ring (6)

Rnd 2: sc 2 in each sc (12)

Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)

Rnd 5-12: sc in each sc around (24)

Rnd 13: sc in next 2 sc, dec over next sc around (18)

Neck bubbles:

Rnd 1: sc 6 in magic ring (6)

Rnd 2: sc 2 in each sc (12)

Rnd 3: sc in each sc around (12)

I did not fill the neck bubbles with stuffing but you can if you'd like to.
